Privacy notice

The short version
If you fill in the form, your email address and your note are kept for 90 days so the file can be sent to you. If you ask for the free sample, your email address is kept for 90 days and may be used for one email about the full dataset. That is the whole database. There are no accounts, no advertising technology, no tracking pixels, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone for their own use.
What is collected
- The form. Your email address, which product you asked about, and the optional note. Nothing else is accepted: a submission carrying any other field is rejected by the server.
- The sample form. Your email address only, marked as a sample request. It may be used for one email about the full dataset and for nothing else; the download link it returns lasts one hour.
- Anti-spam. The form is checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, which confirms the submission came from a browser rather than a script. Cloudflare sees your IP address for that check. It is not stored here.
- Page views. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits. It sets no cookie and follows no one between sites. What it shows is which pages were read, not who read them.
- Server logs. Cloudflare keeps ordinary request logs for its own operations. The form handler writes no log line containing your address.
- If you buy something. Payment runs through Stripe, which collects the card details, billing address and email address you give it. Your card number never reaches this site. What comes back here is that a payment happened and the address to send the file to.
Who else is involved
Two companies, both named above and both acting for us rather than for themselves:
- Cloudflare hosts the site, runs the analytics and the anti-spam check, and stores the form submissions. Their privacy policy.
- Stripe processes payments and holds the payment details. Their privacy policy.
There is no advertising network, no data broker, no customer-data platform and no analytics product that builds a profile across sites. Your address is never sold, rented or traded.
How long it is kept
Form submissions expire automatically 90 days after you last wrote in. That is enforced by the storage itself, not by anyone remembering to delete them. Records of a purchase are kept as long as the tax rules require, which is longer.
Getting it deleted
Email [email protected] from the address you used and ask. It is deleted and you get a note back saying so. No reason is needed and none will be asked for. The same address works for a copy of what is held.
California
If you live in California, you may ask what personal information is held about you, ask for a copy, and ask for it to be deleted, and you will not be treated differently for asking. Use the address above. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no opt-out to offer you.
Children
This site is for professional readers and is not directed to anyone under 13.
Changes
If what is collected changes, this notice is reposted with a new effective date. The version in force is the one on this page.
