Every company named on this site is named for a sentence in its own 10-K. If a page says a company wrote something it did not, quotes a paragraph that is not in the filing, links to the wrong document, or states a count that does not add up, that is an error and it gets fixed.

How to report one

Email [email protected] with the page address and what is wrong. A link to the EDGAR filing that shows it helps, but is not required. You do not need to be the company, and you do not need to give a reason.

What happens next

1. Within 24 hours of the report the company is taken off the page while the claim is checked again. It is still counted in the totals until the check finishes, because a count is only changed when it is shown to be wrong.
2. The claim is checked again against the filing on EDGAR: the quote, the link, the filing dates, and, for a claim that something is new this year, the year-earlier filing.
3. If the claim does not hold, it stays off, the counts it fed are corrected, and the change is listed below with the date. If it does hold, the company goes back on the page and the reply says which sentence in the filing supports it.
